Key Highlights

• 2023 ADCC European Trials winner Jozef Chen is moving up to 88 kg, where he will likely still be the favorite.
• It’ll be curious to see if he actually stays in that division long term, or if it’s only because his teammate and three-time ADCC Trials winner Kenta Iwamoto is competing at 77 kg. That 77 kg bracket is also arguably the deepest in the ADCC Asia & Oceania Trials, as it will also now include previous trials winners like Izaak Michell moving down from 88 kg, and Huaiqing Xu moving up from 66 kg.
