The arrests were made by the Kolkata Police in Howrah after receiving specific intelligence inputs from the Punjab Police’s Special Task Force (STF), which has been probing the December killing. advertisementPolice officials said the three accused — Karan Pathak, Tarandeep Singh and Akashdeep Singh — all residents of Punjab, were arrested outside Howrah railway station during the early hours of the night. According to police, the trio had travelled from Gangtok to Kolkata and were planning to flee by train when they were intercepted.
