Area High School running back Armand Hill, a four-star prospect in the 2027 class, decommitted from West Virginia on Thursday night. Hill had been committed to the Mountaineers since March 2025. Hill earned an early offer from West Virginia after rushing for more than 3,200 yards and 43 touchdowns in his first two seasons in high school. He chose the Mountaineers over offers from programs such as Michigan, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Maryland and Syracuse.
