Key Highlights
- The opening ceremony was graced by the presence of renowned Padma Shri awardee Faisal Ali Dar as the chief guest, along with Dr Surjeet Singh, Director, Kashmir University, as guest of honour.
- Dr Sukhbir Kour Bajawa, Advocate, Supreme Court of India and Surjeet Kour, Sports Officer, Kashmir University, attended the ceremony as special guests.
- Prominent officials from the Qwan Ki Do Federation of India also marked their presence, including Dinesh Sharma, vice president, Qwan Ki Do Federation of India; Atul Pangotra, Chairman, Organising Committee; Sanjay Saini, Chairman, Self Defence In-charge, Qwan Ki Do Federation of India and Sunil Dutt, Technical Director, Qwan Ki Do Federation of India.
- The chief guest lauded the efforts of the organizers for successfully hosting such a prestigious national-level event in Jammu and appreciated the role of martial arts in promoting discipline, fitness, self-defence and character building among the youth.
