Auqib Nabi was the star of the show as Jammu & Kashmir (J&K) created history and won the Ranji Trophy title for the first time following a victory (by first innings lead) against Karnataka in the final, which took place earlier this week at the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) Ground in Hubbali. The visiting team took a first innings lead of 291 runs, which all but sealed their fairytale campaign with a historic title win. Nabi was the star of the show in the final with a five-wicket haul, which included the big wickets of talisman KL Rahul, centurion Mayank Agarwal, alongside veteran Karun Nair, shining youngster Ravichandran Smaran, and Shikhar Shetty. Earlier, he had also achieved the milestone in the quarter-final against Madhya Pradesh in Indore and the semi-final against Bengal at Kalyani.
