Published - January 08, 2026 05:19 pm IST - Kozhikode Security and surveillance measures have been improved around the Kozhikode Government Medical College Hospital (MCH) following an email received by the medical college authorities threatening of a bomb attack. Police sources said that multiple rounds of inspections had been carried out in the area by the Bomb Detection and Disposal squad, which found the threat to be hoax. As per preliminary investigation, an email was received at the official address of medical college Principal Sajeev Kumar on January 7 claiming that three bombs have been planted in the medical college and immediate evacuation measures should be adopted.
