The 7-8 Lion women, who’ve lost their last two games, will take on 4-11 Houston Christian at 1 p. m. at the Sharp Gym. AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe 7-11 Lion men, who lost their last game 61-50 to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, will take on 5-12 Houston Christian in the second game of the doubleheader at 3:30 p. m. After beating New Orleans 72-63 and A&M-Corpus Christi 65-60 in Southland Conference play, the Lion women have lost 60-55 to UT-Rio Grande Valley and 70-63 on Thursday at Incarnate Word in San Antonio. The Lion women lost 21 turnovers against Incarnate Word that the Cardinals converted into 27 points. Brynn Lusby led the victors with 19 points and eight rebounds. Madison Cockrell scored 17 points and Jorja Elliott added 10. Tiani Ellison led ETAMU and all scorers with 28 points to go with seven rebounds, three blocked shots and a steal.
