With no clear route into Sebastian Hoeneß' plans, he was initially loaned to FC St. Gallen and then, in 2025, to Partizan Belgrade. He quickly developed into an regular starter, and both club and player were interested in extending his contract until the summer. However, Horst Steffen's team has now intervened, offering the prospect of playing time at the Bundesliga level. With Bremen's recent performances being less than convincing, Milosevic could be the urgently needed reinforcement.
