The Athletic's Dianna Russini reported on Jan. 21 teams like the Philadelphia Eagles with offensive coordinator vacancies are conducting interviews under the assumption that Daboll is pursuing the coaching job in Buffalo. Daboll grew up in the suburbs of Buffalo and worked as the Bills' offensive coordinator from 2018-21, mentoring quarterback Josh Allen in the early years of his career.
