Calum McFarlane joins Liam Rosenior’s coaching staff

Key Highlights

• He has previously worked at Wycombe Wanderers and Brentford, and got his start in grassroots football (again, like McFarlane). AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMcFarlane isn’t the only familiar face in Rosenior’s coaching staff, as set piece coach Bernardo Cueva and goalkeeper coach Ben Roberts have also joined it.
• Cueva first joined from Brentford during the late stages of Mauricio Pochettino’s tenure while Roberts came over from Brighton & Hove Albion at the start of the short-lived Graham Potter administration.
• He’s stayed with us ever since, and that makes him one of our longest serving staff members (since September 2022). Rosenior of course brought in a few of his good men as well from Strasbourg, including first-team coaches Kalifa Cissé and Justin Walker, and first-team analyst Ben Warner.
• Walker, a former Derby County youth coach, was also part of Rosenior’s staff at Hull City. Everyone’s already gotten to work, with Rosenior’s first training session now in the books.
• And there’s certainly plenty of work to be done!
