Beltrán was elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame on TuesdayHe began his career with the Royals after being drafted by the team in the 1995 MLB Draft. Beltrán made his major league debut with the Royals in 1998 and earned AL Rookie of the Year honors in 1999. After seven seasons with the team, he was traded to the Houston Astros in 2004.
