AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementMazzulla, for that very reason, was asked what his takeaway was from the New England Patriots punching their ticket to Super Bowl LX.“I think when you just take a look at it, they’re a team that’s developed an identity over the course of the season, and every coach, regardless of the sport, is looking for that — creating that type of identity and consistency, and playing to that throughout an entire season,” Mazzulla said on Monday, as shared by WEEI’s Justin Turpin. “I think they’re a great example of that this year.”Mazzulla and Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel have developed a professional friendship over the course of the year — highlighted by the former’s trip to training camp last summer and the latter’s multiple visits to games after being hired at the beginning of last year.
