- Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday said the Viksit Bharat-Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) (VB-G RAM G) scheme should be implemented not only to provide employment to the poor but also create assets in the villages, and directed the officials, and the BJP and JSP to prepare an action plan for explaining the scheme to the beneficiaries.
- Stating that the Central government replaced the Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme (MGNREGS) with the VB-G RAM G scheme in December 2025 for realising the long-term vision of Viksit Bharat-2047, while strengthening accountability, infrastructure outcomes and income security, he emphasised the need for effective public outreach on its objectives and benefits.

- Naidu said the new scheme was devised to provide an additional 25 days of employment to the poor, taking the total to 125 days, and guidelines had been framed to ensure that agricultural operations were not disrupted.
