The treasure-hunting show, which debuted in the wee days of the pandemic and quickly exploded on the streamer, will return for a fifth and final season, slated for release in 2026. Stokes recalled in a recent interview with People that he watched Outer Banks transition from a “little tiny boat show … to a global phenomenon” (complete with fan event Poguelandia, an immersive festival held two years in a row).
