He won a district title in the 200 as a senior for the Greenville Lions and was a wide receiver and running back for the Lions in football.---Caden Thurman, who won six state track titles while at Wolfe City, finished fourth in the 3,000-meter run at the Leonard Hilton Memorial Invitational indoor meet in Houston. Thurman, who ran last season for the University of Houston, was running unattached.
