New Delhi, Jan 25 (UNI) Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Sunday said that the Constitution is the conscience of the country, and for the past 77 years, it has been guiding the nation as a beacon of justice, equality, and dignity. Wishing the residents of the city for the national event in advance, Gupta said that the Republic Day is a celebration of the country’s sovereignty and democratic values, while she also paid rich tributes to Dr Bhim Rao Ambedkar and his team for laying the foundation of country’s democracy, being the architect of the constitution. On the occasion of the state celebrations of the 77th Republic Day held on Sunday, Delhi Chief Minitser Rekha Gupta urged the residents of the national capital to fulfill collective duty towards the city and the country so that efforts towards a ‘developed Delhi’ gains momentum.
