Nagle takes over a Cougars team that went 10-3 last year and reached the Central Section final. AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementHe replaces the previous leadership after serving as an assistant on last season's coaching staff. The move marks a return to Nagle's roots. A 2001 graduate of Clovis High School, he played for the Cougars under coach Tim Simons and now steps into the top role at his alma mater."Makes me a little emotional. Playing here, graduating here and now getting the chance to be the head coach at my alma mater, it's pretty special," Nagle said. Nagle brings prior head coaching experience to the position. Beginning in the 2020-21 season, he led Clovis East High School for four seasons.
