Germany's Wendelin Thannheimer was second for a first World Cup podium and Austrian Franz-Josef Rehrl finished third. Defending champion Vinzenz Geiger on Germany was only 19th. The men's ski jumping event in Wisla, Poland was won by world champion Domen Prevc of Slovenia, who jumped 136 and 130 metres. German Philipp Raimund was second and Olympic champion Ryōyū Kobayashi of Japan was third.
