Crystal Palace agree £48m deal for Strand Larsen as Liverpool eye Geertruida move

• The player is expected to undergo a medical on Sunday. The deal allows Jean-Philippe Mateta to seal a £30m switch to Milan, who, after talks with Palace for the France forward, is undergoing a medical.
• The 28-year-old had told Palace he wanted to leave. Wolves are pursuing deals for the Southampton striker Adam Armstrong and the Marseille midfielder Angel Gomes before Monday’s transfer deadline. Nottingham Forest have signed Stefan Ortega on a permanent deal from Manchester City, the goalkeeper signing a contract until the end of the season.
