Despite being under contract until 2027, the Hessen club are already considering an extension, but talks haven't started yet. The 27-year-old, born in the eastern Croatian city of Slavonski Brod, could be tempted by a return to his home country. Regardless, Maglica could be enticed back to the Bundesliga having played 26 games in the division with Darmstadt during the 2023-24 season.
