Both senior officials were accompanied by senior police officials, SSP Srinagar and representatives of various security agencies, are deployed on the ground to ensure peace and public safety, officials said on Sunday. Peaceful protests have been reported in different areas of the Valley, with demonstrators expressing solidarity with Iran and voicing opposition to military actions by the US and Israel.
