The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal reported the signing on Monday morning. Soroka, now a 28-year old swingman, was an All Star for the Braves in 2019 when he had a 13-4 record and a 2.68 ERA. Injuries changed Soroka's career, as he missed the 2021 and 2022 seasons entirely. He struggled for Atlanta in 2023 before moving on and pitching for the Chicago White Sox in 2024 to the tune of a 4.74 ERA.
