Published - January 16, 2026 08:15 pm IST - MYSURU The police has arrested eight persons in connection with the murder of an estate worker in Kattemadu village in Madikeri rural police station limits in Kodagu. According to Kodagu district Police Superintendent Bindu Mani R. N., the victim, identified as Buro, who was residing in the line houses in the estate of Devaiah, died after he was assaulted with a club by his son Prasanth Mudi, 27. His dead body was burnt to destroy the evidence, the police said.
