Energy Minister to inaugurate 132/33 kV substation at Gannavaram Airport on January 5

Key Highlights

• It will cater to Gannavaram, Vijayawada Rural and Ungutur mandals, benefiting nearly 3.50 lakh people.
• The facility is expected to address the long-standing low-voltage problem, reduce transmission losses and minimise power interruptions caused by long 33 kV feeder lines from distant substations.
