According to The Athletic's Ian O'Connor, Schoen has had direct contact with John Harbaugh after he was fired by the Baltimore Ravens at the end of the regular season. The talks between Schoen and Harbaugh have been described as positive, per O'Connor who notes that there's still a long way to go. Nevertheless, Schoen has been relentless in his pursuit of the veteran head coach which likely speaks to his willingness to work with Harbaugh on the Giants' roster. Speaking of the roster, Harbaugh is already getting himself familiar with QB Jaxson Dart by watching film of the young quarterback, among others, per The Athletic's Dianna Russini. With Schoen and Harbaugh in communication, it seems likely that the Giants will be one of the three to four teams that Harbaugh narrows down his search to after the weekend like he told FOX Sports' Jay Glazer earlier on Saturday.
