Governor’s address: BJP hits out at Cong. legislators’ behaviour

• Somashekar, former MLA, staged a dharna against Governor Thaawarchand Gehlot for refusing to read out the entire speech prepared by the State government.
• The protest was staged at the Ramaswamy Circle.
• Taking serious exception to the conduct of Congress legislators inside the House, BJP workers and leaders carried placards bearing photographs of some ruling party legislators and raised slogans demanding their suspension.
• They also insisted that the Congress government apologise to the Governor for allegedly disrespecting him during the session.
