Fin Patterson's third goal of the season gave the Green Lions a perfect start as he cut in from the right and blasted in from distance after six minutes. Will Fazakerley replaced Allen for the final 30 minutes and with one of his first touches made it 2-0 as he pounced on a loose ball from a corner. Fin Du Port completed the win with a powerful strike in the 86th minute. The Green Lions' seventh win in eight games ensured the nine-point gap to second-placed Steyning Town did not increase, keeping their hopes of catching their rivals alive."It's an important win, a clean sheet which is great and to get three goals has been a good afternoon," Guernsey FC manager Tony Vance told BBC Radio Guernsey.
