Gulf-based MIET alumni meet convened in Dubai, UAE Chapter formed

Key Highlights

• Archna, a senior faculty at Amity University, Dubai, has previously served at institutions including the University of Stirling, Westford University College, and Birla Institute of Technology.
• Professor SK Sharma, Board Member of MIER Group of Institutions and former MIET Principal, attended the meet and lauded the contributions of alumni in the UAE and other GCC countries.
• Professor Ankur Gupta, MIET Director, joined online and welcomed the alumni, emphasizing that MIET remains their home.
• During the meet, Salman Babar (2003 batch), currently in Dubai, was elected President of the UAE Chapter of MIETAA, while Taha Bichoo (2007 batch), Vice President at Citi Wealth UAE, became Vice President of the Chapter.
• Other coordinators nominated include Rahul Sharma (Oman), Junad Nehvi (Saudi Arabia) and Abdul Ahad (Qatar).
