Published - December 27, 2025 08:05 pm IST - VIJAYAWADA The Krishna Milk Union (KMU) called the ‘Haritha Gopalam’ scheme as a new year gift to the paddy farmers in the State. Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, KMU chairman Chalasani Anjaneyulu said that the State government had approved the scheme under MGNREGS to promote fodder cultivation in rural areas, establishing fodder fields and nurseries to address the shortage of animal feed efficiently. Outlining the several benefits of the scheme, he said financial incentives would be given for establishing fodder fields and nurseries under MGNREGS.
