NASCAR star Austin Dillon spoke about his love for pickleball during the Texas Grand Prix race, saying the focus, quick reactions and competitive mindset he uses in racing also help him on the court. Dillon revealed that his pickleball journey began during the COVID-19 pandemic, thanks to his parents. He shared, “My mom and dad actually got me into pickleball during COVID. My mom had been begging me to come play, and I’m like, ‘Ah, I don’t know.’ And I started it, and I fell in love with it, obviously,” Dillon said.
