Indianapolis Colts now on outside looking in at AFC playoff picture

Before the Philadelphia Eagles vs. LA Chargers Monday Night Football game takes place, the now 8-5 Colts are the eighth seed in the AFC playoff picture. A Chargers loss to drop them to 8-5 on the season would be helpful for the Colts. However, even with the Colts still in the mix for a playoff spot, this team faces far more questions than answers. Daniel Jones suffered a season-ending Achilles injury in the team's loss to Jacksonville. As of now, rookie Riley Leonard is the next man up at quarterback. The Colts also face a very difficult schedule to close out the season with matchups against Seattle, San Francisco, Jacksonville, and Houston -- all of whom are over .500 and are current playoff teams in their respective conferences.
