Indore water contamination: Mayor says informed of 10 deaths

Indore is facing a severe health crisis due to contaminated drinking water in the Bhagirathpura area, with conflicting reports on the death toll. Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava stated that he has been informed of 10 deaths, while residents claim the number is 14, including a six-month-old infant. The health department has confirmed only four deaths, and over 2,800 individuals have fallen ill from the outbreak, which has drawn the attention of the National Human Rights Commission.
