Mathern is currently a sophomore playing for the University of North Dakota women's basketball team.
- Without Mathern, the Rebels finished at 13-11 and 6-4 in the District 2 standings."Last year was a growing year for us and we hope to make it further into the postseason than we did (last year)," Bertsch said.
