Brown has now scored 30 points in nine consecutive games. Bird previously was the only Celtics player to have done that, and now he and Brown are tied for the record, according to Celtics reporter Taylor Snow. He shot 14-for-23 from the field, including 2-for-5 from 3-point range, to go with 7-for-10 from the foul line. The expectation heading into this season was that Brown would have to play like this at times with Jayson Tatum out.
