Now, they’re looking to potentially add a big-time prospect to the quarterback room. Oregon signee Bryson Beaver, who Stein helped land for the Ducks, announced this week that he is entering the transfer portal after spending just one month in Eugene. The class of 2026 prospect was an early enrollee who is now headed elsewhere following the announcement that Dante Moore is back for the 2026 season, while Nebraska transfer Dylan Raiola will be his backup. AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementBecause Stein helped get Beaver to Oregon when he was the Ducks’ offensive coordinator, that prior connection now has Kentucky in the mix for the blue-chip prospect, according to On3’s Pete Nakos.“Sources tell On3 that two early schools to keep tabs on in this recruitment are Georgia and Kentucky for the short-term signee,” Nakos reports. Beaver was ranked 174th overall and 12th among QBs by 247 Sports Composite as a high school prospect.
