Throughout the disheartening effort, the 49ers had three players leave the game with injuries - running back Christian McCaffrey, defensive lineman Alfred Collins and tight end Jake Tonges. AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAfter the game, 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan confirmed that McCaffrey had a stinger, Collins had a shoulder injury and Tonges suffered a foot injury. Collins returned, McCaffrey returned but was pulled later in the game and Tonges never returned. Shanahan also revealed that linebacker Dee Winters was removed from the game to get checked for a concussion, and he passed the test and was allowed to return to action. We'll probably hear more about these injuries this week before the team disperses for the offseason.
