Both MSSU teams picked up double-digit wins. The men improved to 13-8 on the season, winning their third straight game after coming out on top 93-75. MSSU got its first 8 points from Colin Ruffin and led 8-7 before Isaiah Atwater drilled a 3-pointer at the 16:10 mark to make it 11-7. Leading 13-11, Southern got 12 straight points from bench players Jaden Taylor and Tyrone Wright Jr.
