Addo told The Athletic of Semenyo’s club future after Friday’s World Cup draw, which saw Ghana drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia and Panama. He has been particularly impressive this campaign, bagging six goals and three assists in 13 top-flight appearances. The 25-year-old is contracted with Bournemouth until 2030, but the club will be powerless to stop him from leaving due a £65 million release clause in his deal. Semenyo has many admirers in the Premier League, with Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur all linked with an interest. The Scottish expert signed Semenyo for Bournemouth during his spell at the Vitality Stadium, and could now look to bring in the forward to Anfield. Moreover, the Merseyside titans’ main priority lies in defence and midfield.
