Blue Devils drop road contestSTEVENS POINT — The UW–Stout women’s basketball team endured a difficult shooting night Wednesday, falling 79–50 to UW–Stevens Point in WIAC action at Berg Gym. The Blue Devils struggled to find consistency offensively throughout the night, particularly from beyond the arc, finishing just 3-of-17 from 3-point range. The Blue Devils stayed within single digits for much of the third quarter, but Stevens Point began to create separation late in the period and carried that momentum into the fourth. UWSP outscored UW–Stout 28–9 in the final quarter. Addy Verhagen finished with a game-high 19 points to lead UW–Stout, while Maraya Wiltrout added 10 points and a team-best seven rebounds.
