MEA advisory: Indian citizens in Lebanon and Gulf to follow safety instructions

• “In view of the current situation in the region, all Indian nationals in Lebanon are advised to avoid unnecessary travel, remain vigilant, and observe locally advised safety and emergency procedures,” the advisory read.
• The guidance comes as India expressed deep concern over recent developments in Iran and the Gulf region, urging all parties to exercise restraint, prevent escalation, and prioritise civilian safety.
• The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) emphasised the importance of dialogue and diplomacy to de-escalate tensions, while respecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of all states.
