- Speaking to the media after reviewing the works at Medaram on Sunday evening, the Deputy CM said the State government has allocated ₹260 crore for this year’s Jatara — ₹150 crore for event arrangements and ₹110 crore for permanent temple infrastructure.
- “This festival is not just a tribal celebration, it is the heartbeat of Telangana and a symbol of our self-respect,” he remarked.
- Mr. Vikramarka informed that nearly 85% of the works have been completed, and directed officials to finish the remaining works by January 15.
- Accompanied by Ministers Sridhar Babu, Konda Surekha, Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Seethakka and Adluri Laxman, he also offered prayers to the deities.
- The Deputy CM assured that funds have already been released and bills for completed works are being cleared within 24 hours.
