The Mets aren't the only team showing interest in Quintana, however, as the San Diego Padres, Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, and Colorado Rockies, among others, have interest in Quintana this offseason. The Rangers just traded for MacKenzie Gore, which might take them out of the running for Quintana.

Either way, the Mets' interest in Quintana is interesting, and could turn into a solid pickup for the Mets if they find a way to bring the lefty back after a year away in Milwaukee.
