NFL Insider Ian Rapoport reports that the Miami Dolphins are hiring former Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley to be their next head coach, making the move just hours before he was scheduled to meet with Mike Borgonzi for a second time in Nashville. AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementA long-time Greg Schiano disciple, Hafley has spent time with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, San Francisco 49ers, and Green Bay Packers during his time in the NFL, and would be a first-time NFL head coach. Now that Hafley is off the board, it will be interesting to see if the Titans make a move with Mike McCarthy, Matt Nagy, or Robert Saleh, or decide to reach out to former Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott, who was surprisingly fired on Monday. Tennessee wrapped up interviews on Monday with Nagy and Saleh but has yet to release a statement on its next steps.
