Key Highlights
- The Chief Minister had announced in October 2025 that a new Kendriya Vidyalaya would be opened in Khajuri Khas to provide quality education to students in the area.
- The project, estimated at 47.80 crore, will be developed on a 1.82-acre plot with a built-up area of 8,725 square metres.
- The G+4 structure will accommodate 1,520 students and include 38 well-ventilated classrooms, a grand double-height entrance lobby, a multipurpose court, a dedicated play area for Bal Vatika, lifts for universal accessibility and parking facilities.
- Designed with sustainability at its core, the campus aims to achieve a 4-star GRIHA rating.
- It will feature solar power systems, LED lighting, rainwater harvesting, a sewage treatment plant, EV charging points and approximately 25% green cover.
