The Cougars entered the fourth quarter facing a 5-point hole as the Eagles led 39-34. But the visitors outscored the hosts 11-2 in the early stages of the final period to take a 45-41 lead. The Cougars were led in scoring by their senior guard duo of Ben Schumacher and Jadon Smith, with 13 each. The Eagles got a game-high 27 points from junior Carter Witt. Witt led the Eagles to an early 13-9 lead after the first quarter by scoring 9 points in the period.
