The initiative – jointly organized by Villa Albertine, the French residency program headquartered in New York, and Unifrance, the French film and TV content promotion org — introduces emerging French filmmakers to audiences across the U. S. and Canada. After being on hiatus in 2025, this year’s edition will feature six titles which have not yet secured U. S. distribution and will be available for booking by American arthouse theaters, film societiesand festivals, as well as universities and cultural institutions.
