When it came to the Colts, Tantillo selected center Tanor Bortolini. AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementAccording to PFF's data, the Colts had one of the best offensive line units in football this season, and flying under the radar in the middle was Bortolini. He posted an 82.6 PFF overall grade, ranking third among all centers, while allowing just 17 pressures and zero sacks," Tantillo wrote. In his second NFL season, Bortolini took over as the Colts' starting center. And as mentioned, over 566 pass-blocking snaps, he did not allow a single sack. Among all centers, he ranked 16th in pass-blocking efficiency and third in PFF's run-blocking grade. Not to be lost either, when discussing the center position is all the work that comes pre-snap with setting protections and communicating adjustments based on what the defense is showing. For a young player, this is a position that can come with a steep learning curve. This article originally appeared on Colts Wire: Colts' Tanor Bortolini named team's most underrated player from 2025.
