Despite finishing third in district last year, Mason got within a victory of making the UIL state tournament, before losing to Goldthwaite in the regional finalsThe Cowgirls aren’t looking ahead to the postseason, but Cummings is really excited about this year’s squad that has a good mixture of youth and seasoned veterans.“I mean, they’ve got really good team chemistry,” Cummings said.
