Leading up to the game, Barça manager Hansi Flick has announced the squad list of players who will be available at his disposal for selection against Manuel Pellegrini’s team. De Jong has not played in Barça’s last three La Liga matches – one due to suspension, one because of personal reasons and the most recent one vs Atletico Madrid due to a fever. He has now recovered and returns to the squad. Meanwhile, Fermin missed Barcelona’s last two games against Deportivo Alaves and Atleti due to a calf injury. However, he has recovered ahead of schedule and is back in the squad for the trip to Seville. Dani Olmo is the newest absentee for Barcelona, though, after suffering a dislocated shoulder in the midweek game.
