Story byPhil Harrison, Buckeyes WireThu, January 22, 2026 at 2:32 AM UTC·1 min readWe're not done with the transfer portal news just yet. The portal window closed last Friday, so there won't be a lot of action of players entering it aside from the teams that were playing in the CFP National Championship game, but there are still players who entered their names that will continue to find landing spots. In 2025, his first and only year as a starter, Young averaged 41.8 yards per kick in a whopping 69 tries.
